CAN YOU STOP TYING ON THE LAPTOP? WHAT IF THE BUTTONS DON’T WANT TO BE PUSHED?

When my sister said that I LOLed :P Actually ROFLMAO. So did my Mother. My sister is a bit… retarded. OOPS! I mean MENTALLY CHALLENGED. (happy Ms. Hanna?) My sister doesn’t usually show her crazy side but when she had to swear that she wouldn’t watch tv, go on the computer or play on her PSP)  for a whole day and a half, and don’t ask me why, she had to stick to it, she started going crazy from boredom. In fact, I have a video of it too! 

Okay enough about my sister.

I am home. Even if I am pretty bored with nothing to do.  So I have been working on my story which is now 7707 words long :D  AINT THAT AWESOME?? And I have tons of ideas in my head! ( in my head I see you all over me… -sorry bout that I listen to a lot of music so this kinda sticks in my head :P )

Nanny ways I’m just waiting till I get the mood to write again.

CHRISTMAS

MERRY CHRISTMAS Y'ALL!!!!!!

For the first time this vacation, I'm writing this live. I mean, not pre-written then copied and pasted into the blog when internet connection is available.

My vacation so far? Watching Christmas special movies, tv shows, chilling with cousins, running around barefoot amoung the coconut trees in my grandmother's bac yard, eating like a starved fat pig, watching a few matches of EPL avec mon oncle, making up random gibberish instead of speaing french. etc

OHMG. The other day, when my dad came to see us in Kerala, we went to my cousin's place ( and they have the biggest garden) and when we were getting our shoes on, my dad spotted a snake!!! :O
it was a baby crate which turns out to be a seriously poisonous one! I have to admit I ran back inside in fear and repulsion because I HATE SNAKES! Because they are so slithery :( But my grandmom's younger sister, grabbed her shoe and whacked it to death. GO GRANDMA! Even my dad was scared!

As of now ( my mom's fave words) Im in chennai at my dad's place. They are extremely fond of giving me and sister money. 3000 rupees already. It isnt much to brag about though, but nice to have spending money :)

Good news for SUH and SHAI :D I have written SO MUCH MORE in my story with all the free time I have :)

SUMMON YOUR FATHER!

THE EXAMS ARE OVER!

After a week of grueling exams we finally get to chillax and have fun!

This blog post is dedicated to Suh and Resh who couldn’t come over!

So I called my friends Chea Lene, Na Hyeon, Shaillu and Danielle over to my house. Upon reaching my house promptly at 8, Chea and Na fell asleep n my room while I went down to get Shai, who also fell asleep :P And that’s how Danielle (a.k.a. Dan the caveman) found them, all snoozing like little babies :P

I TRIED to draw their peaceful faces but Na’s and Chea’s were hidden by their beautiful hair and Shai kept fidgeting.  After gossiping a bit about school and people, we ha a little musical fun on my laptop and on my keyboard.  AND THEN WE WENT SWIMMING :D :D

OF COURSE Na and Chea went to get a tan while Shai and Dahn acted like their usual crazy selves. ( WHO IS YO FATHER? I AM!)

We had an amazing DOMINOES pizza lunch by the pool (where they didn’t give Chea a fork to eat with her pasta, hence she was left to use crusts) talking about people like Laura and futures and graduating :)

At my house again, we watched Pretty Little Liars, a freaky show for teens :)

UH-MAZING. We watched like… 5 episodes together!

And that is what we did on Wednesday. :)

Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, please fasten your seatbelts. We are now ready for take off!

Okay, maybe I wasn’t ready to go back to India. I didn’t want to leave all my amazing friends in Malaysia. I love them too much! And the worst bit was that I had to leave after Drama. So I missed English AND Science, both of which are pretty fun classes.

Okay, maybe I wasn’t looking forward to spending time in India because there was a low chance of being connected to the internet world. I grew up with internet, I die without internet.

Okay, maybe I didn’t like traveling for long time periods.  I hate super long bus rides and car trips and long airplane trips.

But this time,  I could take my laptop with me so I could watch some movies and shows. Unfortunately, the movie रंग दे बसंती (Rang de Basanti) wouldn't work ! D: So i had to settle for what other movies my sister brought. 

But when I stepped out of the airport and smelt the air, its fragrance of flowers, heard the coolies calling to each other, the malayalam language that sounded so foreign to me in the first five minutes but felt like english after that.

I saw my grandfather waiting for us and the long long drive back to the house, The backwaters we passed and finally my grandmother smiling happily at our arrival. 

I am home.

Bleh.

I don't know about you but I'm feeling a bit suckish nowadays.
I don't know why, but everyone here seems to be.

Nannyways, this Saturday is the ISAKL swim meet and I qualified for 2 individual and 2 relay events! :D I am so incredibly happy now because I was so afraid that I wouldn't qualify for anything at all.
So hence, I'm happy.
The downside is that there are so many trainings that I have to attend and I keep getting exhausted after like, 25 meters of swimming that I'm worried about how I'm going to do at the meet in a few days.:S

I'm planning on keeping this a short post. Nibbles, my hammie is getting scared my the light I left on and keeps running at his little wheel. I needa sleep and so does he. He yawned at me. Lol. So cute :D

As you can see, I have lost my voice. I am now a mute who can only expel air when attempting to speak and it hurts like hell when I try to.

10 things I found while exploring the bottom of the swimming pool

1) Blob of hair: This blog of hair was one of the biggest blobs of hair I have ever seen in my life. EWWWWWWw gross :( But then I felt sorry for it and I sent it silent messages while swimming past it.

Dear Blog of hair,
You are the biggest blob of hair I have ever seen. I'm not sure if that is a compliment. I'm sorry but you do look kind of disgusting. Maybe thats why were were floating over there all alone. Now i feel sorry for you. I hope you have a nice time floating before you get sucked up into the swirling vortex of doom. That is all.
A hyperventilating swimmer.


2) A broken Clip: Wow. A broken clip. Obviously someone, a girl, ( wouldn't it be so weird if a guy wore it?) wore it and it broke in the trip to or back from the diving board. Too lazy or not bothered to pick it up, it was left abandoned there. The poor clip. Maybe it can give Blob of hair company.

3) A perfectly good rubber band: It was green and really stretchy, perfect for a girl's hair. I kinda maybe picked it up. Hehehe. JK I didn't pick it up because who wants something that was laying in a pool where little kids pee? NO ONE!

4) Leaves: nothing to say about em.

5) Something that looks like.....poop and mud mixed. EEEEEEEWW I stayed away from that end of the pool.

6)  A button: This was perhaps the most strange thing ever. People wear swimsuits in the water. WHERE DID THE BUTTON COME FROM? Something to think about.

7) A Hoopy thing: I love em. They are huge and we get to play around with em and swim through em when we warm up.

8) A pair of goggles: What a careless person. Oops just realised I do that too sometimes. Hehehe

9) More leaves

Wow. As you can see, I am obviously feeling rather strange. Hahahahahhahaha

So I dedicate this post to her :D
I made this awesome card for her and I dropped it and I was like NOOOO I LOST IT

But turns out Shazzay found it and gave me in the end. Caused me a lot of worry eh.

She was so awesome to me in Track and Field, for which I will forever be in her debt.
Suh is so awesome. Wait, I said that already but anyways, she can always tell what I'm feeling and she is such a good friend to me that I feel so glad and happy that I have a friend like her.

SOMETHING I REALLY NEED TO SAY

This week, I did something which I'm not proud of. We had to work on our English project. I paired up with Ritika and we made an iMovie together. Actually. She made the iMovie. I did nothing except hire the main actress for the movie. The project turned out to be great and I felt terrible for getting the credit for doing half of the work. So this is an apology letter which I'm posting on my blog to let everyone, especially Ritika know how sorry I am.

Ritika,

I know you must be very mad at me right now and I don't blame you. I blame myself for letting you do all the work and I just think up what to say. It wasn't fair on you and please believe me when I say that I didn't mean for it to happen. We had our work kind of divided earlier but when we changed it to a new project, it sort of all fell on you. I felt terrible after English so I went to talk to Ms. Hanna. You were talking to her already so I went and hid in the bathroom till you were done. Then I went and confessed to her about how terrible I felt. She told me that you had already talked to her and that she was going to tell me the same thing she told you. that we should plan better next time. I swear that i was on skype the whole time yesterday till I left at 9.30 ish. In fact, some of my other friends from my old school were there and they can say that I was there on skype.
I'm really really  sorry it turned out like this.
I would write more but it's lunch right now and it is ending so I need to send this really quick and get to the multimedia lab

BAH HUMBUG!

There is a reason I am typing away at midnight. Homework. There, now you have the reason.

Today, my mom took me with her to my sister's dance practice. My father was out of town so she decided to  drive there, but she was nervous after yesterday when my sister tactlessly told her she was nervous. The brains she has. Nannyways, she took a wrong turn and we ended up driving a half an hour more before we finally reached the place. I took my laptop because my sister had cheerfully told me that there was internet connection in the dance room and so I could work. What happens? There isn't any. The brains she has. Somi and I walked around for fifteen minutes trying to find out where the Free Wifi was but it didn't let us connect. Nannyways, Somi and I showed aunty our script and we went back.

I went to Ritika's house instead because we had to work on our English project. My parents were supposed to pick me up at 8.30 but ended up picking me up at 9.10. I wasted 40min because of them since I packed up at 8.30. Now I have to stay up with Ritika on skype and work out our outlines and stuff.

NAWWW 

Then I had an argument with Chea and Shai. My exhaustion was partly a cause and so were their attitudes which sparked my anger. Oh wellsies. Hope it will be better tomorrow.

WHAT A BUSY WEEK ! :\

It has been so long since I last posted! This week has been incredibly busy with all the HONK! rehearsals, script writing with a friend, MUN and swimming. It is going to continue in the following weeks till December. :(

But I actually like being busy, it gives me something to do, and I tend to finish my homework earlier so I don't start drowning in it.

I can see the News Headlines now...... Hectic Teen Dies Of Too Much Homework! - School admits that they gave too much.

hahaha :p Thats just me being random. You should know this by now!

Some bad things that happened this week.

I got sick :( My ear started hurting like hell itself on thursday. I think it is all Mike's fault. He accidentally sort of stuck a snorkel in my ear while swimming. Ear is probably cut and infected. THANK YOU MIKE!

Some good things that happened this week.

I BONDED WITH DELPHIE JUNEAU! Gosh she is amazing. You could talk to her for hours about random things and never ever get bored! I love the all the stories she tells me like the issue with the hair straightener and the bug! AHAHAH NINJA MODE!!!!! And the other personal story.... IF YOU LAUGH AT ME ONE MORE TIME I WILL REMOVE THE REASON YOU WEAR PANTS!

SUH :) Something good happened to her this week, and I think she has been waiting for it all this time. Just tell me if I'm wrong okay Suh? But I'm so happy for you!

BAH HUMBUG! Right now I have to work on some english project, practice my lines for the musical, get the script and stuff printed out, get better so I can swim, write a report, memorise a french essay, learn for a math test. Oh.My.God.

All I really want to do right now is grab the laptop, watch pretty little liars and then go to sleep, curled up in a ball. Oh welsies!

End of October Break :(

Wow. I can't believe that one week passed by so quickly. It feels like it just started two days ago, not a full week. I have become pretty much used to sleeping in, relaxing and lazing around the house and at the pool. Nothing good lasts forever.

I had tons of fun this week. First, I was chosen to host a function, in front of many people :D I'm not nervous, not really, but I get the feeling that my parents are more nervous and worried that I will mess up than I am. So much for their encouragement.

Then Monday came and my awesome friend Nanios came over to my house and ATTACKED me with her makeup. I swear, all I was looking forward to was some fun time with Nani and she bursts into my room holding up her make up kit saying "Hey Meghna! We are going to put make up on you okay? Okay. Sit there" and then she began. After that, we went over to her house for a SLEEPOVER! :D We stayed up late taking more pictures (that made me look good for some reason) and talking about girl stuff and then we squeezed into her bed and fell asleep at about 2 AM. I love her dog, Happy! It's the cutest little thing ever and it is so active it trys to lick my hand but gets confused and can't decide which hand to go and follow. Ahahah :P the cutest little thing ever!

Then on Thursday, I went over to Shazzay's house after lunch! We went online and looked at what our names meant on Urban Dictionary.com. This is what mine meant. MEGHNA: an adjective used mainly in New York to describe anything "hot", "pretty", "smart" and just "plain wonderful" I love that definition. Unfortunately, it also meant: A hobo living on the street who eats only vegetables. Usually an extreme idiot, even though educated. LOL isn't that hilarious? It made me laugh so hard I actually ROTFLed. Then, we watched Avatar, the last airbender on her tv while munching on some Koko krunch. We spent the whole movie criticizing it and how the actors weren't good and most importantly, HOW THEY MISSED OUT ON OUR FAVE SCENES!!!! Stupid director and producers. Nannyways, after that, we went to the playground and took GAZILLIONS of pictures of us. My fave part was how we epicly failed while trying to take a pic of me jumping off the swing at the highest point of its arc. Gosh, my knee still hurts.

I didn't mention what her dog did, or tried to do to me. -.- IM NOT GONNA TELL

Nannyways, that's all I can write about for now.

DON'T YOU HATE THOSE DEPRESSISTS?

I'm not sure if depressists is a word, but in my dictionary, it's a new one!

I spent two hours yesterday, trying to convince my depressed friends that they have to love themselves for who they are!

It started when one of my friends told us about how nervous she was about performing on stage the next day. I told her to be confident by smiling and enjoying her moment on stage. Even if she did make a mistake, 99% of the people wouldn't even notice and the 1% wouldn't even care! Its true! Then the rest of them started being cynical by telling me that loving yourself is a sure sign of being full of yourself, which isn't true. Only if you love yourself, can others love you!

HEY YOU GUYS!

Its just perfect for a dreamer like me to wake up and look at her watch only to figure out that she had missed the once a year opportunity to make a wish! Thats right! This morning I woke up to realize that yesterday was 10/10/10! I had missed the epic wish of the year by a whole day! The fact that all my friends remembered didn't help either. The whole time this morning, while I was reading my fellow friends' blogs ( once again, bottom right) I was thinking that I could have not missed the most epic wish of the year! I seriously got to stop dreaming!

I sort of threw a tantrum (hehehe :P) because I didn't want to go but I have to because this lady who is in charge of the function later that I'm hosting is going to be there so I have to go talk to her.

Oh well. Its just today.

ELLO THERE!!!

haha I'm so bored, and this proves it!
My second post today, wow, I do have a lot of time in my hands.
I did nothing today but watch some Terminater, edit my blog, chat and yell at my sis.
Yelling at her is one of my favorite things to do. I don't do it on purpose but she just gets so obnoxious sometimes that you feel like ripping her head off! Yelling at her lets out all this extra unwanted energy that I have from doing nothing all day. I actually feel good :)

Oh yeah! I played a game of badminton with family today! It's really fun to play because my dad is so hard to beat but then if we do beat him, then he treats us to some ice cream at Baskin Robbins! I didn't beat him today on account of my cold and cough and stuff but my sister did and so he is treating me too! Sadly, not now but soon. VERY soon.

OhMG! Tomorrow is Monday! -.- I have to go with Mom and the she-devil to one of our friend's house for this prayer thing for Deepavali. I could skip it but since I have to talk to this lady about me performing on stage. OH YEAH! I didn't tell you guys about that!

See, my parents are part of this club and since Deepavali or Diwali (go google it if  ya don't know what it means) is approaching, all the kids, teens etc. are going to perform on stage! YIPEE! I didn't feel like dancing much so instead I'm going to be hosting the whole show with this other girl a year younger than me. And it may show on TV! Not a channel you guys would know, it's this Indian channel Zee TV which is pretty popular around the world. Lets hope that the function gets aired on tv!! CROSS YOUR FINGERS!!!

MY precious Dominoes pizza is getting cold. Must go eat the deliciousness.

Ello again!

I have been editing my blog again :) Did you notice? I hope so!

Nannyways, quite a few of us made a blog of our own yesterday. My awesome friends, Shazzay, Suh Young and Chea. And a couple of others who I don't remember huh  :P I had started a blog a while back but I gave up because it bored the hell out of me hehehe. Don't worry, this one will be more interesting, just wait and see!

Then Suhy was telling me how she made a blog of her own, Suh's World! and that sparked my interest again and I really wanted to open up a new blog. Then soon after, Chea and Shai followed :) If you go to the bottom right of the page ish, there are links to their blogs and a few others. Go look at them kays?

Let me tell you more about myself. My best friend is Sneha :) We spent all our time together until I moved out of the country, but we still keep in touch. THANK GOD FOR THE INTERNET! She is one of the most awesome people I know. ILY SNEHA :)

I do have a pet :) His name is NIBBLES! Can you guess what he is? A HAMMIE! haha Nibbles is my pet hamster. I got him on the 4th of June this year because of my awesome math grade. A dog would have been nice though.

I have an OBNOXIOUS sister. I swear, she is the devil herself. Don't you agree Shazzay? But don't go mentioning everything here kays? But sometimes, my sister can be the sweetest little angel ever. Notice I said SOMETIMES.

I learn french at school. Oh.My.God. I do agree that French is a beautiful language but learning it is horror. So is learning every other language. No offense to you language lovers out there!

hmmm....I swear I had more awesome things to tell you about me but I forgot. Hehehe :P It can wait for another time.

PRRRESSSENNNTING...... MEGHNA!!

HEY Y'ALL!

This is me, Meghna a.k.a. MEGGERS!, Megs, Meg, Macncheez,  etc. presenting to you my very first blog post!

Its the mid-semester break right now, and I'm sitting by the pool with my best friends drinking some Iced tea. NOT! Actually, I'm sitting at home alone. But thankfully not for long! I planned a lot of fun stuff to do during this week long break from school work. Ah. School. High School is so much fun with all my friends. Right now, we have so much homework to do, which is a downer but at least we are all together!

I love writing stories! Whenever I'm in the mood, which is hopefully all the time, I just can't resist picking up a pen or my laptop and typing away. So far, I'm on my 8th page of my story which I started on the 15th of August this year. I'm pretty proud of it because all my friends who read it think that I should publish it!

I also love reading stories as much as I love writing them. I used to have 3 or 4 books hidden away under my desk in school, waiting for the perfect time to read them. Good times...good times...

My favorite class right now is school is DRAMA! Drama is UH-MAZINGG!! It is my life! Well, not really but you get what I mean :P I love acting out roles because its just awesome to be someone else, even if for a little while. I have a part in the school musical, HONK!, and I have the most awesome dress ever for it. My part is the mother swan and she has an important, though short role in the musical. Not a singing role though.. DEFINITELY NOT! I couldn't sing to  save my life! Or anyone else's for that matter.

My favorite sport is SWIMMING! Don't you just love the water? Flowing, soothing, calming... It is the best thing in the world, next to me of course! I'm awesome! JK :P

I tend to use the word awesome a lot, have you noticed? I have already used it 5 or 6 times in this post. I seriously need to use better adjectives!
